He carried bamboo flutes and played soft tunes near the river. Birds gathered first, then monkeys, and even a pair of barking deer paused to listen. Gently, he guided them back into the forest.
Later, one of the children asked, “Uncle, how did you know what to do?”
Babu smiled. “When you respect the forest, it listens. And when you listen to nature, it speaks.”
Years later, his story was painted on a school wall—not as a legend, but as a reminder that even one quiet life can protect many silent voices.
