📖 Story
As the jungle settled into sleep, the stars twinkled like tiny lanterns above the treetops. Toby the turtle peeked out from his leafy bed, his shell glowing faintly in the moonlight.
Tonight was special. The jungle’s ancient legend said that once every season, a trail of glowing mushrooms would appear—leading to the Moon Pond, where wishes whispered under starlight came true.
Toby had always wanted to see it. But he was slow, and the trail faded by sunrise.
Still, he believed. With quiet determination, he began his journey.
Along the way, he met Lila the lemur, who was tangled in vines. Toby gently helped her free. “You’re so patient,” Lila smiled. “I’ll join you!”
Next, they found Benny the bat, who had dropped his favorite fruit. Toby helped him search the bushes until they found it. “You’re kind and calm,” Benny said. “I’ll come too!”
Together, they followed the glowing mushrooms, step by step, never rushing. The jungle was peaceful, filled with soft chirps and rustling leaves.
Finally, they reached the Moon Pond. The water shimmered like silver silk. Toby closed his eyes and whispered, “I wish to always be kind and patient.”
The stars above twinkled brighter, as if smiling.
