Deep in the heart of the forest, where the trees grew taller than castles, there was a strange place called the Whispering Woods. Every creature in the forest knew one rule—never go there after dark.
One night, a young rabbit named Tofu was playing near the edge of the woods. He had heard the stories: the trees whispered secrets, the shadows moved on their own, and the wind carried eerie laughter. But Tofu was brave—or so he thought.
"I'm not scared!" he told his friend, Momo the squirrel. "Let's go inside just for a moment."
Momo shook his head furiously. "No way! It’s dangerous!"
Ignoring the warning, Tofu hopped forward, pushing past the dense fog. The moment he stepped inside, everything changed—the air turned cold, the leaves rustled without wind, and a soft voice whispered, "Toooofuuu..."
His ears perked up. "Who said that?"
The whisper came again, closer this time. "Toooofuuu, where are you going?"
Terrified, Tofu turned to run, but the path behind him had vanished. Instead, dozens of glowing eyes appeared in the bushes, watching him. The whispers grew louder, overlapping in a chorus, calling his name.
Just when he thought he'd be stuck forever, Momo rushed in, grabbed his paw, and yanked him out of the woods. The whispers stopped, the glowing eyes vanished, and the forest became normal again.
Tofu never went near the Whispering Woods again.
Moral of the Story: Bravery is important, but knowing when to listen to warnings is even smarter!
